Georgia Kate and I had to travel to Ruston a couple of weeks ago for an unexpected visit. My grandmother called me at the beginning of January to tell me that my Papaw had a brain tumor and that he was going to have to get it removed. Initially I wasn't too concerned and didn't really face the facts that we were dealing with the monster of cancer. Well...a couple of days later we received more information and it was pretty serious. So...I decided to fly to Ruston with Georgia Kate and spend some time with my family. It was hard to get it all together, but I am sooooo thankful that I decided to go. We had the best time and I got to spend some quality much needed time with my Papaw! He is such a special man and I am so thankful for him. He came through the surgery ok and after some chemo and radiation things should be ok for a while. Please pray for him. So cute!!! She is adorable! I love the alligator outfit on her and hope some more of them fit as well. Have fun planning that FIRST birthday party!!!
